A black Peterbilt semi truck tractor with a trailer of livestock, driven by Rick Phipps, age 59 of Cannelton, Indiana was traveling eastbound on IL Rte. After investigation, Deputies learned that a black Hyundai passenger car, was driven by Briann Mccain-Bell, age 19 of Rockford and was traveling southbound on Mulford Road while approaching the IL Rte. On at approximately 0920 hours, Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident with an injury at the intersection of Mulford Road and IL Rte. The accident remains under investigation. Maliyabwana was transported to OSF Hospital for life-threatening injuries by Rochelle EMS. Baslerwalton was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries by Rochelle EMS. The Buick came to rest completely in the southbound lane, and the Ford came to rest partially in the southbound lane and off of the west shoulder of the roadway. The Buick then lost control in the roadway before traveling into the southbound lane and striking the Ford head-on. At the same time, a white Buick passenger car, driven by Aisha Maliyabwana, age 37, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was traveling northbound in the 1,000 block of S. After arrival, Deputies learned that a grey Ford Edge, driven by Kimberly Baslerwalton, age 42 of Oregon, was traveling southbound in the 1,000 block of S. ![]() On at approximately 0630 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the 1,000 block of S. ![]() Trujillo was released on a notice to appear, at the hospital, with a return court date for all charges. Trujillo was also issued a notice to appear for possession of controlled substance and aggravated fleeing to elude. While at the hospital Trujillo was issued citations for driving under the influence of alcohol and an intoxicating compound, no registration light, improper traffic lane usage, and speeding 35 miles per hour over the speed limit. Trujillo was transported by the Mount Morris Ambulance to KSB Hospital to be treated for suspected minor injuries. Gamill was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Gamill was placed under arrest for an outstanding Rockford PD warrant for failure to appear for a residential burglary. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Demarious S. The driver of the vehicle identified as Adan Trujillo, age 37, of Park Forest, IL. After a brief pursuit the vehicle lost control in the 5000 block of West Lowell Park Road and went into the ditch where it became stuck. On at approximately 0121 hours, Ogle County Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Lowell Park Road on a black Chevy HHR that had previously fled from the Illinois State Police in Whiteside County and the Dixon the Police Department in Lee County.
